NYC Soup Dinner for Abelscc and her daughter: Thursday, Dec 28
Abelscc and her daughter Susanne are coming to the Big Apple right after Christmas and she suggested a little get together with some Flyertalk friends and some soup (perfect food for winter weather.)
Date: December 28
Time: 7pm (I can tweak the time if we get enough people who want it change)
Place: (where else?)
La Bonne SOupe (The "official" Soup Do restaurant, where else?)
48 West 55th Street, NYC

For about $20 you can get a nice three course meal with salad, soup and a pretty tasty desert.

Soup DO 4 will take place the Friday after the Freddies. It will be at La Bonne Soupe in NYC, wherever the 2007 Freddies are held (NYC, CHicago, LA, London, Jersey City Hyatt

Thank you, Catman for setting up a Soup Dinner. When My daughter Muriel and I were at Soup Do 3 and the BRT last May, we had a great time. She mentioned it to her sister, Susanne. When we planned the NYC trip, Susanne agreed that it would be a nice addition and is looking forward to meeting some of my FT friends.

Friendly bump since the holidays will be getting busy on a personal (and cat sitting business) front. IT's going to be a record Christmas/Hannukah and other holiday weekend on the cat visit front!

Wish I could join you
I would love to be in NYC with FT friends for this dinner, but we traveled so much at Thanksgiving that we are "laying low" for the entire December/January holiday season. Have some good warm soup for me and I'll do my best to be there another time!

We do have room at the soup table if anyone has some last minute availability.

Captain Mike! You and your family must come out again. PM and let me know and if you schedule permits you have to try this place (San Diego 1K, Lili and others have tried it and I believe they were happy with it.)
