I noticed the link to someone's profile if they are quoted and the great multi-quote option. What else is new since the downtime?

multiquote = talk about a time saver
quick reply = insanely fast, at least as of right now
list of active users in each forum = GREAT addition, im used to it on smaller forums
and the downtime wasnt even as long as originally stated
^^
awesome work guys!

Please see this thread more info on new features:

I'm not sure that I knew that we had a spell checker before the upgrade, I'm pretty sure that we did not have one.

Just a thought/suggestion... but isn't posting a link to a specific page (page=7, in your example) worthless for those that either display newest first or have a non-standard ppp setting? In my case, it took me to a post from '04! Originally Posted by Tim at WebFlyer

Yup. One reason I try to link to specific posts (using either showpost code or showthread with p=# instead of t=#) if I want to draw attention to something in the middle of a thread.

I like the new features. ^
Sadly, no new smilies.

I don't like two of the new features:
1) You have to wait the required wait time in order to do a second search, where the first search results in zero hits. This was not the case beforehand.
2) You aren't permitted to report bad posts more than once every sixty seconds. This is not particularly beneficial in the case of spammers who flood every single forum they can as quickly as they can.

Just trying to test to see how the multiple quote button thingee works. If I click that "+ button for two posts in a thread, I still get only the second post I clicked as quoted in my reply.
Some of these new features might take a little time getting used to!

I haven't seen a smilie since I installed ........ I'd love to see a general "suppress smilies" option for those times when I'm not on my own computer, though.Originally Posted by redbeard911
