Biggest Ever Sale Starts Tomorrow

There is an advert in this mornings Metro stating that BA's biggest ever sale will start tomorrow. Over 150 destinations will be available. Hopefully there will be some big discounts for the recent disruption.

Url will be www.ba.com/septemberoffer

Most excellent news. Here's hoping for a few cheap MFU-able deals.

Let's also hope for some destinations that aren't usually put on sale, like Kangaroo routes in particular.

It will be interesting to see if standard Club and F fares are heavily reduced as well.

Loads must be low. There is currently Club award availability to Hong Kong available every day of the week of Sep 3rd! The low loads in Club due to lack of food seem to be having their effect. There are even a couple of seats to BKK available in September.

The fares have been loaded and are on sale tomorrow.

JFK comes out at £126+tax (approx £110). £175 supplement each way on top of the lowest V fare for WT+. Should come to around £526 + tax return.

LAX pricing out at £185 + tax. Same £175 supplement each way for WT+ on top of lowest V fare - Comes to around £585 + tax return.

I cannot see any sign of discounted Club and First fares.

Where abouts did you see these? I was hoping that WT+ would have been a little bit cheaper than £175 each way. Maybe there will be soem better deals in Club. What dates are the reduced rates bookable up until?

They have been loaded into the main GDS's.

For LHRJFK: (£126+tax round trip)

NLXNNGB3

SEASONS-1NOV-15DEC05 OR 1JAN-31MAR06. SEASON IS BASED ON DATE OF ORIGIN AND IS DETERMINED BY DATE OF DEPARTURE OF FIRST INTERNATIONAL SECTOR.

TICKET MAY BE ISSUED ON/AFTER 31AUG05 AND MUST BE ISSUED BY 27SEP05. THE FIRST DATE THAT TRAVEL MAY COMMENCE IS 1SEP05 AND THE LAST DATE IS 31MAR06.

I assume same for all NA destinations - probably differing seasons for the Middle East/Africa, etc. Seasons are the same for TLXNNGB3 £526 + tax round trip.

JFK £126 + 'tax'? - out-bloody-rageous!

Go to www.virginatlantic.com/dailymail and get VS for £85 + £114 extras .

At that price, it's better than redeeming miles, given that you end up with paying the extras for redemptions anyway.

Had a guess with the site's structure and you can view all the destinations and prices here:

http://www.britishairways.com/travel...r/public/en_gb

Additional £10 off long haul and £5 off Europe for exec club (and presumably other registered users).

Any ideas as to the earnings eligibility of these fares, please.

Almost certainly the same as other discount economy fares. These sale fares are usually booked into N class, from experience.

But not for those of us who've blocked ad.doubleclick.net! I'm glad I've got the other link - it'll save having to edit the HOSTS file.

I spoke to BA today and they said they should show availability from midnight. Hopefully we should be able to see the club fares.
