Kenya Airways used to offer a free safari in Nairobi National Park for long lay overs. Now one can do a half day / few hours safari starting from $250.

I would hope even a mildly seasoned traveller would easily be able to kill 15 hours in a city like Nairobi.

I feel like I have travelled the world very well but 15 hours in Nairobi sounds painful to me.

A glass of red in the AF lounge, sleep during BKK-NBO, shower in the Pride/Simba lounge, go on an early morning safari, explore NBO during the day, sleep during the first half of NBO-JFK. Seems easy enough to me - a little harder if one has kids though!

Be sure to pack some melatonin!

Am I the only one who thinks that this perfectly normal, and not at all a bear of a flight?
