Bassinet seat still showing blocked less than 24hr before flight

Bassinet seat still showing blocked less than 24hr before flight
Is there any way to snag this seat (and the one next to it thats also showing blocked) by calling BA?

My flight is this evening…

Likely this. The requests aren't guaranteed. I've seen passengers berate poor gate agents because the customer didn't request one in time and it was first come first serve, teaching that kid how to treat service people poorly.

I called BA and he tried to switch it but apparently since I already checked-in online it was giving him issues. He said I should be able to have it switched at the airport assuming its still available in a few hours.
