Status and Seat Allocation

If Gold, Silver can you always 'guest' a fellow passenger into a neighbouring seat?
Never seen the rules on this!
Can a Gold allocate their whole family?
Just wondered if its worth more than one member if the family maintaining staus for leisure travel.

If you book the trip and you are all travelling on the same PNR (booking) then your status allows you to select seats for the whole party.

All those travelling on the same booking get seat selection privileges as per the status member. The exception is only actual Golds can select 1A/K in First.

On separate bookings:
- no selection for companions of Silvers
- Gold members can call up to make a 'To Complete Party' request whereby BA back office manually selects the requested seats for the Gold's companions
