What's the grossest thing you ate off of a room service cart in the hall?

In the spirit of the thread about weird items left in the room... what's tempted you out in the hallway?

I'll admit to...

Tiny Tabasco bottles
Beer
A slice of pizza (gross!)

A basket of bread rolls for me. Late night munchies.

I have a grabbed a french fry or two off a plate before, but for some reason if I haven't been drinking that type of thing doesn't seem to happen.

Never as an adult. As a mischevious teen, I'm sure I sampled something here or there. I know I'd grab half eaten popcorn cups and chow down.

Eek! No.

Only thing I've ever gotten into was an extra bottle of lotion or something off the housekeeping cart. That's certainly not something I've done often though. I am not touching other people's gross food that's been out for hours.

Nothing. I don't dumpster dive either.

It's like that guy who wanders through the pub at closing time finishing off abandoned pints.

Don't be That Guy...

<shrug> My philosophy: to each his/her own.

I'm sure I've eating much less hygienic food from the restaurants and streets of certain countries.

(I'll admit to swiping some unopened mini-Tabasco bottles. Always keep some with me for bland airplane food.)

Kinda OT but when my friend and I were skiing Switzerland (we were about 16 at the time) we'd grab the leftover fondue bread from tables lol

Gross me out. I won't even snatch my BF's food off his plate. It's just rude. Let alone, a stranger's food. Like I want a disease!

Only in the better hotels. At least you get to choose after seeing it. Best not to sit down on the floor while you sample it outside a room as that will probably attract attention.
