Best use of these MR points?

I have about 100k and my spouse too.

THought of transferring on a promo - but it does not seems to be coming anymore and seems there is a devaluation at the end of Sept?

I would have wanted to transfer to UA, AA, Delta or BA. Marriott or Hertz?
Appreciate your tips?

What do you hope to get out of your points? That will help determine where you should transfer them.

MR points do not transfer to AA or UA, but they do transfer to other programs whose miles can be used to redeem for award travel on those two carriers.

Redemption rates can vary widely from program to program for the very same award flight.

Be mindful of programs with expiration dates such as ANA. I believe that points moved there expire in 3 years irrespective of whether there is ongoing activity.

Of these only DL and BA are Membership Rewards partners. The transfer ratio to BA changes at the end of September, but otherwise no change.

Read the Wikipost at the top of this thread to understand how to use Membership Rewards for travel on AA or UA:

I'm probably a sucker for just redeeming through the AMEX travel site. At least that way I don't have to contend with limited seat availability and still earn Delta MQMs on my flight. I don't care for booking hotel stays through third party sites like AMEX since I seldom get any elite night/points credit. I almost had 100K Hilton Honors points expire not realizing an AMEX-booked stay wasn't recognized as a qualifying stay.
