Announcing...

Greetings FTers,

It is with great pleasure that we introduce Starwood Lurker. As many of you know, Jae Knowlton has been “lurking” on the Starwood Forum for a while now, representing Starwood Preferred Guest Member Services. In an effort to better serve our friends on Flyer Talk, we are expanding into all aspects of Starwood Hotels and Resorts customer service, not limiting ourselves to Starwood Preferred Guest postings.

Along with our new screen name, we also have a new e-mail address that is exclusively for use by FTers. That address is mailto:[email protected][email protected]</A> . When writing to this address, we ask that you make the subject line of your e-mail "Guest Forum". Starwood Lurker is a member of Starwood’s E-Communications team. We urge each of you to use this new e-mail address when corresponding with us. For those of you that have been corresponding with Jae directly, he will be glad to continue assisting your needs. It has been a pleasure serving you and we look forward to continuing to serve you in the future.

Respectfully yours,

Starwood Preferred Guest and Starwood E-Communications Teams

It's really nice to have a travel company that actually cares about its customers.

Great news!

I just used this contact to inquire about some missing stays already faxed to their service center and and another question. Fast, professional reply and action. A class act. Thank you Starwood.

THIS IS PROOF OF THE POWER OF UNITED CONSUMERS!

Let's all take note of this and think twice before stabing others in the back when they post a complaint, or problem as we've all seen on many threads.

If we stay united and suportive companies will respect us, and listen to us!

i'd also like to point out that this is in stark contrast to certain airlines, who still think that the internet is filled with a bunch of cranks

um, no actually, it's filled with your best customers

thanks starwood!

Starwood has once again set a new standard in customer service with a sublime cyber-move that fuses a keen understanding of customer needs with an ever evolving web technology. Would get a definite vote for Best Customer Service at the 2000 Freddie Awards! More power to Starwood and, at the risk of using an oxymoronic phrase, thanks for reactively lurking!
