Talking Escape to Paris/Mt.St.Michel via LH/A380(PEK-FRA)/EuroStar(LHR-BRU)/Thayle(BRU-PAR)!

Business trips are the central theme of my photo trip reports. I dread the boredom of being on the road alone. I am never a fan of dinning alone or wondering around looking for things to do. Perhaps the heavy loads of work are on the back of my mind to allow me to relax. Then, there is Paris!

I love walking around any European cities. Each one is unique and colourful. My personal favourite TRs are the ones I have done in Madrid/Vienna, Dublin, Luxembourg, London, Malta, Germany. Unfortunately, I have not done a TR on a European location this year. The Germany TR was shot in 2010, and B&W Brussels TR I did earlier this year was such a gloomy reflection of the state of mind I was in. Then, there is Paris!

Night photographs have been frequently included in my TRs, because I am usually in meetings during the day, and walking around at night helped me to relax before I return to piles of work in my hotel room. Then, there is Paris!

Travelling alone is tough, but my recent trip to Europe was different. I was in London and Brussels for meetings and was able to see my good friend/former colleague from DC who happened to visit those two cities for work, and she was able to keep me away from massive boredom. Then, there is Paris!

Instead returning home, I took a side trip to Paris/Mt. Michel with a dear friend of mine who happened to be in Paris for work assignment for a couple of days. We decided to take a day off from our hectic work schedule to tour Mt. St. Michel! We also had half a day walking around Paris. What an escape from my usual boring work trip. She and I had a memorable time in France!

No night photos of Paris, because there was no boredom at night!
In this photo trip report, I plan to include photos of:

  • LH A380 from PEK to FRA and connecting flight to LHR
  • Hilton Waldorf Hotel in London
  • Eurostar ride from London to Brussels
  • Brussels Marriot
  • Thayls ride from Brussels to Paris
  • Paris Renaissance Hotel
  • Paris
  • Mt. St. Michel
  • LH A380 FRA-PEK

.....Stay Tuned!

Hi- much looking forward to the report. FYI, that's Wembley Stadium (national soccer stadium) rather than the Olympic stadium

Great pictures as always. Did that woman trip on the steps? No wonder in those shoes! You should really have helped her up rather than taking photos of her.

Thanks for your comment.

Regarding Olympic Stadium versus Wembley Soccer Stadium, I also took a photo of Wembley from the sky above on the same flight. I have always identified the "new" Wembley Stadium as the one has a huge Arch. See photo below.

The photos is The Emirates Stadium of Arsenal FC in North London
