Yeah. I don't know which seat yet, since I just booked it. I forgot to ask KLM for seat reservation. But we can hookup in the lounge if you feel like it. I'm easy to recognize through my language-site Laura speaks Dutch

Hi everyone,

For those interested, a/c forecasted is F-GSPF and should have the newest video system, i.e. the 85 films and expanded audio selections.

that's good news, since I was very impressed by SQ's AVOD system which helped pass the time with 10.4" screens in Y (similar to AF's C product...) I'll be on the LHR-LAX flight in August, where I managed to get a C award for the busy summer season Heard horror stories about connecting in LHR, but suppose that CDG has a pretty lousy reputation also.

Interested to see whether all those services will be available in April or progressively introduced when AF changes terminal and gets its new lounge (could take another yeqr given current problems at T5). Could the first flyers share their F experience?

Well the part on arrival in LAX is something I really do expect. I could imagine the other services to be in place as well. This is something one can plan.

          Cheers,

Flying LHR-LAX mid april in C. Can only the air france lounge be used or are there any other/better options in LHR? I have no status with FB.

Well, you are pretty much stuck in T2. The only other SkyTeam lounge in T2 is operated by AZ.

@Mofomat: are you in the lounge today? I'll be flying to LHR right now and move towards lounge. I'll be seated 1A. Maybe we can say hi at least.

Okay the first experience is extremely positive. I arrived at LHR and was met at T4 by an Air France agent that escorted me to T2. Got me in the lounge in the First Class section. She told me I would be escorted onto the plane as well as will every passenger in F.

That is nice, yet similar to any AF-lounge. Staff started coming with snacks, cold white wine and champaign. The only real downer is that internet is still not free from your own laptop. Positive is that AF has a laptop lying around for passengers to use. I must say very attentive service. If the rest of the flight is similar then this really rocks! Service :-::-::-::-::-: Lounge :-::-::-:

          Cheers,

          Brenno
