[FARE GONE] Y class MSP-LGW on CO $219 one way ++

>>> seems to be gone as of 9:30pm FT time Oct. 22 <<<<

Poking around on co.com I came across this. It popped up as the lowest fare in the market. Seems to be good for up to a year out.

Fare basis Y3E, routing is MPM - 4813 VIA NORTH ATLANTIC

CO Y fares earn 150% elite credit on NW and on DL and can easily be upgraded with miles.

To socialize with other FTers in MSP, London, and maybe en route, check out this thread.

Have fun!

Also good on VS codeshares into LHR.

Very very nice fare. Looks like some misplaced a decimal.

Will the VS codeshares earn Skymiles and if so at what levels?

Good find OP.

Unfortunately, I will not be taking advantage of this, but I was trying a few things for practice for when the next one comes along.

Since I found out all the cool stopovers people did with the BUH tickets, I thought I'd practice with this fare.

The fare rules state unlimited stopovers, but everytime I use multicity to add a stopover in New York for a few days, the price jumps to 1300 something. Is there are reason for this? How do you go about getting it to price with a stopover. And, if you can, is it just limited to the gateway city, or could you add one at any US city?

This find is a real gem It appears to be good for next summer too. Routings via houston seem to be possible to for a bit more money...around $613 all in...this can help maximize miles and minimize ewr headaches.

Wow, $556 all in. Thanks. Let's see if any stopovers can be added.

Booked with codeshare NW and shows M class on NWA.com

I booked a ticket on Y but when I go to NWA.com it shows up M class??

Departs: Minneapolis/St. Paul-Int'l, MN (MSP) at 12:55PM

Arrives: Newark Int'l, NJ (EWR) at 4:37PM

Class of Service: Economy Class (M) Seat: not assigned

Flight Duration: 2 hours 42 minutes Miles: 1,017

Meal Service: Snack Box ($5) Aircraft: Airbus A319

Note: Flight Status posted day before departure

Note: *Operated by Northwest Airlines

I went to Continental website and it shows Y.

So I shouldnt be worried?? Should I cancel this one and buy one with only Continental flights?? Well, NW see that it is a Y fare so that maybe I will get an upgrade??
