May be related, but I was looking on BA.com for F award flights LAX-MEL for 2008 Jun-Nov (up to the 355 day limit) - not one seat. I find that difficult to believe even for days 355 days out.....could this be an award class transition issue?

If you are a QFF member, why not use the QFF site to search for availability since that does work

QFF does NOT show CX -BA sometimes does but its often wrong. also I find the BA site much easier as u dont have to check the little boxes with J and F and untick E its a stupid website.
Also when looking for BA what better website than
BA
oh well no seats on either of them but

anyway I did think it was relevent to all here who maybe use seatcounter or another engine!

Correct. Or check the CX site but that is only an indication.

I've got a BA account and can search CX avail through this also... not sure if you can join online without a flight, but might be worth trying if you search for CX regularly

Wow, I had assumed that frequentflyerfriend had been screen scraping the QF award engine. But it sounds like they have access to the QF buckets. The only place that I know of that provided public viewership of those buckets was via the ITN/GetThere site that Amex used to use. But the Amex site seemed to be switched over to the new version of the GetThere availability service that no longer displayed the hidden inventory a few months ago.

I'm curious as to where they're getting their availability info...
