Question Old question same answer?

I tried to do a search but it won't work for me this evening
Could have called BA but I know and trust the FT BA community experts more then BA
When it comes to most of the rules.....

Question is a fairly simple standard one
Family member’s miles were set to expire a few months into the upcoming New Year 2007
I urged them to not lose everything they worked so hard to acquire approx three years ago
As a result of my urging they did a single transaction with I Dine which posted recently
Will that now extend the expiration date of all the miles another three years?
Thanks all

Hopefully breathing better after a fat yes

I do believe activity on the account prevents mileage expiry. And I'm 95% sure that involves any credits (BA or non-BA), and any redemptions.

So yes as far as I'm aware.

And New Years 2007 is plenty of time to do something about it in any case

it's the date by which you have to accumulate sufficient TP's to keep/gain status. Everybody's ends on the 8th day of the month... if you are blue, it has no meaning.
