Great read & enjoyed the pics.
I always prefer an A,C seat on the Fokkers when travelling with the other half.
Loved the "I desperately needed a pee" part.

I do sometimes question why I travel so much when taking off on a beautiful crisp Scottish morning. The worst guilt-trip for me is on the CO flight from EDI to EWR, which climbs directly across the Inner Hebrides and gives a beautiful view of everything from Islay and Jura out to Tiree and Coll. On a sunny morning you can see the green sea over the white beach and the machair. It makes the environs of Newark Airport seem even worse in comparison...

Glad you all enjoyed reading my TR.
I really enjoyed compiling it and always take time to read all the others as it's handy to know the services in the different classes the airlines provide.

very nice trip report.... i'm a little sad that the links to the photos don't work anymore.... ;-( I'm flying KLM business class in november from ORD to AMS for a few days followed by AMS to ATH for a few more...... B747 and 737.... i've done the 777 and it was.... OK.....
