One thing that strikes me in Thailand is the lack of taking care of things...This could very well have been preserved better...

That was Kanchanaburi in 3 days – here are some photos and impessions from....

DAMNOEN SADUAK – FLOATING MARKET

Again...how difficult could it be to replace this banner...(?)

A little meeting before we jumped in to the boat....

And this is the boat we rented for the «cruise»...

The obligated photosession...

A local house in the canal:

Then we closed in to the more «touristy» area of Damnoen Saduak....Many small shops, and the boatdriver stopped at every one – until we politely told him not to...

Local «boatbar»...

Spices in for all palets....

Meeting other tourists...

Local kitchen on a boat...probably makes very tasty food...!

This guy sold many different things...

The most crowded and maybe the most famous part of Damnoen Saduak....

Here`s a video from our boat trip:

Video from Damnoen Saduak - Floating Marked

Then out in the more «open» areas...

The guided tour ended up in a nice temple along the canal – wich made the ladies happy!

Some qualitytime with Buddha is appreciated....

Then we headed back towards our startingpoint...here`s a local thai out checking something...

«Photoevidence»....

Then we headed of to Hua Hin were i hadd a couple of days of paperwork wating...At least we had the afternoons/evenings free, and we got to enjoy the festival of Loi Krathong

HUA HIN – LOI KRATHONG

In «lack of» water/sea at our position this evening, a local canal would do the trick... This is a festival many thai`s celebrate, and turned out to be a nice evening/night for all of us...

First of all, some shopping at a local flower shop:

Then light up the thing....

For then to send it out with planty of good whishes....

Then take part of the local party....

Of to a local bar/restaurant our driver regulary visits...we had a great evening with lots of food and drinks...!

Our «own» barkeeper:

Some food to «balance» all the alcohol...

That was it from Hua Hin this time...

Just got dropped at the airport, and had to wait 1 hour before check inn.

3 counters opened for QR Bizpax at the airport:

After checking in, i went straight to Thai`s Royal Silk Lounge and relaxed until it was time for boarding....

....breakfast.....

Then some more tv and «fiddling» with the system before landing in Doha...

Moodlightning before landing.....

Then it was time for the Premium Terminal.

This is about what you see coming inn, and after a quick secutity check. These are check inn boots leaving the terminal, and gates for the busses taking you to the awaiting aircraft at remote parking.

Tried really hard to fix my now bad condition with this....

Here are the seat in different angles/positions....

Closing in to the norwegian border. My camera did`nt hold all the way in, so these are my last two pictures.....

Landed 45 min after schedule – that means that flightdeck managed to fly in approx. 45 minutes of our delay from DOH.

I am really satisfied with QR, both with the hardproduct, (eccept the plane from Doha to Oslo) and not at least the crew. They where very service minded and attentive on all my flights – i will definetively recommend them without hesitation to my friends and family.

Thank you very much for looking at my Photo TR, and i hope you liked it)

Best Regards,

Deltanorge
