The cut will come from MIA with an overall capacity decrease from daily to 5/week with both CPH-MIA and OSL-MIA will be reduced to 2/week from 3/week and 4/week respectively.
One additional flight will however be added with the introduction of ARN-MIA.

3 weekly for Winter schedule

Not as frequent as now - but now with a "real" plane. Quite a difference in all three classes

Is the 737 lease being terminated? Any details on connection improvements out of BOS?

I personally welcome this change.

Yes. It was contracted for three years so it will leave at end of October.

Wonderful news. I appreciate how SK actually tested the route with a smaller and more economic aircraft and encourage them to continue doing so. However, TA flights on 737's don't help SK's reputation.

Was just exploring *A BOS>CPH awards, and I was thrilled to see that by this September SK will be flying an A330-300 in place of the 737 they'd been using. Has this been definitively confirmed anywhere?

Are all of SK's A330-300 aircraft updated with the new business class product?

Yes, all A330s and all but one A340s have the new cabin. There is one spare/replacement A340 with a different older configuration which still has lie flat J seats

Great to hear. Assuming the A330 becomes the norm, here's hoping SK opens up some more connecting *A award space from CPH to the rest of Europe. They've suddenly gone from being the worst *A TATL carrier from BOS in J to the best!

The 737's service concludes August 19th, it seems. Starting August 20th you can book in Plus

Does anyone knows which routes will be served less to accommodated the A330 serving the BOS router?

It was mentioned somewhere in the forum. The only two points I remember is one rotation cut from Miami (and one moved to Stockholm), and Boston no longer being daily.

Edit: actually, just scroll about 10 posts up in this thread.....

Just done this CPH-BOS in C. Old cabin, but make sure you have the first row (then you will have enormous leg room about 4 windows). Food is the same as other SAS long haul flights in C. Everyone got an iPad loaded with movies.

As stated upthread, the 737 service is ending this week. New flight will be in an A330 with the new J cabin.

Any updates yet on wether SAS has improved BOS connections?

I'm seeing things like CPH-BOS-YYZ now but it comes at twice the price of a connection in EWR or IAD. However, CPH-YHZ and CPH-YUL still route through EWR.

Who would fly CPH-BOS-YYZ when there is a daily AC CPH-YYZ flight on B787 or B77W (during the summer)?
