Cimber (QA) going out of business again - Service ends March 2015
A little bit older news but I just heard about it today that SAS does not extends its wetlease contract for the CRJ200s.

I really like the Cimber guys, I hope they can find a way to fly again but it looks really bad and I think the decision is final.

I flew with them from CPH to Luxembourg last summer and enjoyed it. Very small plane - 13 rows, 2x2 seats if I remember right, but a very comfortable flight.
And they seemed to fly at lower altitude than most other planes so I had the most wonderful view all the way down - Clear weather and I could see everything.
So yes I was also a bit sad when I heard the news, they go back a long way here.

I guess the only worse plane regarding space is the E-145 which I ride from KID to ARN. Horrible...
Anyway, I like Cimber and I'm sad to see them go (again).
Good news that WRO will be serviced by a bigger machine, lots of times I couldn't get a seat booking a weak out.

Hopefully, it will be new ATR 72-600 like the current operated by Jet Time on the Danish domestic flights. Actually, the ATR 72-600 is quite nice (new!) and well suited for the short flights to AAR, BLL and AAL.
I would prefer the new ATR72-600 over the older Cimber CRJ200. SAS CRJ 900 is my favorite though, but not seen for while on the Danish domestic flights (maybe still to AAL but my impression is that AAL gets A320/A321 mostly).

These are the four ATR72-600 previously operated by Jettime for SAS: http://www.sasgroup.net/en/sas-signs...nt-with-flybe/
SAS/Flybe will get two more next spring.
