If you primarily fly SAS C the use for points fades pretty fast as well as there is no F to book in or upgrade to.

You still can book First class awards on *A partner airlines. Actually the only award flights where it is reasonable paying the YQ.

Not eve sure about United. There have been mixed reports on YQ charges.

with a bit of planning and the use of your amex plat, especially if you are in norway and combine your purchases with Trumf you can score a lot of points. Even more on triple trumf days (trumf is a bonus programme for a large commercial group out of NO).
