Better to trade off on FT coupon connection -- you're less likely to get your butt in trouble.

However, according to some FT posters here they've figured out a workaround to get as many pc points via MCR that they wanted....
I'm not sure one can get in trouble; I think that is misleading

Selling on ebay will not get one in trouble

Does anyone know if you can indeed redeem more than 3, even though it says 3 is the limit per account? When I attempt to go for a 4th, it still allows me to go through the process, but I haven't submitted for the award because of uncertainty of what will happen.

It will say you've reached the maximum. Definitely won't work.

No, it'll give you an error stating that you're at the maximum. Otherwise, I think we'd all have kept quiet about it.

FWIW

From FW:

MCR Double Points Day is December 17!!!

"As valued members of the My Coke Rewards Community, we wanted to let you know the news before anyone else: Double Points is coming. Wednesday, December 17 is Double Points day on all Coca-Cola Classic, Cherry, Vanilla and Caffeine Free Coke 12-packs. So stock up and get ready to earn double rewards, just in time for the holidays!"

Remember you can get up to 20 codes doubled. Just enter 10 before noon EST and 10 after noon EST.

I can't find the FW reference, can't find an announcement on the MCR site, and haven't gotten the e-mail yet.

I wonder whether the double points apply to Diet Coke products. It appears that from their omission in the reported announcement that Sprite, Fresca, etc. are not included in the double points. Can anyone confirm this if they have access to the official announcement?

I don't know whether I'll be able to differentiate between the potential double-point codes and those that do not qualify since I only have the small portion of the 12-pack box that tears off when opening.

I assume by the announcement that 10 pointers are doubled and not the 20 pointers or in this case, the three pointers. I have had times in the past where the 10's start out being doubled and then the 20's work later in the day. I don't have anything saved aside this time...so it's unlikely to make any differnece for me.

The FW reference is on the next to last page of their thread, or was this morning.

The discussion there has been that it'll probably apply to Diet Coke products, but not Sprite, Fresca, etc.

The 10 pointers are doubled, the 20 and 25 pointers are not doubled.

Gargh, and here I am with no more 10-pointers unredeemed. Anyone want to loan me 20 10-pointers so I can double them? (For example, if you have way too many and can't double them all?) I'll pay you back with interest sometime in January, which is when I make my next mega-12-pack run. (I purchase 12-packs for our "co-op" lab kitchen.)

You are INCORRECT, TH. Delta Revenue Protection Unit HAS indeed seized mileage from accounts and ALSO voided award tickets because of persons buying mileage and vouchers ON eBay.

That happened to a co-worker.

Likewise, so HAS Continental voided tickets in the MIDDLE of a trip, forcing a family of FIVE to buy new tickets to get home because they had got One-Pass mileage from buying on eBay.

That happened to neighbors.

United voided Air Canada international tickets just a week before trip because of mileage got with united mileage bought via eBay seller...
even though the seller signed off and got tickets for a "friend" at OHare.

eBay will and DOES supply buyer and seller contact info when asked by the airlines corporate security....

IF you think the airlines/coke and sponsors of "rewards" won't react by discontinuing the item(s) as an MCR reward or airlines won't take punitive action against buying and or bartering airmiles, certificates, vouchers, and the like --- then you're very naive to say the least...

I'm stocking up on just enough for me today and tomorrow--a local grocery store has 12 packs on sale, so we're picking up 20 of the 12 packs between today and tomorrow.

Can you move your 12 pack run up to this week?

I was talking about the seller

If I'm selling MCR points (not miles) on EBay I can not in any way shape or form get in trouble and I do not think that buying MCR points on ebay will get one in trouble

of course buying miles on ebay will bring up the potential of trouble with the airlines but that is not what I'm referring too

Unfortunately not... I'm not only super-busy, but there's no space to keep them, and there are no good sales. I try to stock up only when Safeway runs their B2G3 sale. Oh well, it's not a huge deal anyway... but if anyone does end up with lendable extras, please let me know.
