Moscow - W Europe - Low cost options ?

Hi ,

Exploring options for the long May week holiday in Moscow..
Lowest flight options I find currently have flight fares of approx Eur 200 per person
Checked baltic air, estonian air, skyscanner, ukraine airlines etc..

Any suggestions on better options on this route ..

Looking at Moscow - Amsterdam anyday between 30 - 3rd May.. and return 8-10th May..

Thanks,

AMS is a (relatively) expensive destination ex-MOW due to SU/KL duopoly and you're flying during peak holiday season.
Usually a cheaper option is flying to DUS (non-stop AB, LH/4U or possibly even SU) and taking a train.

CGN-VKO with Germanwings is normally quite affordable. But not on the dates you request (>300 EUR return). Beware that there are a few public holidays in Moscow during the first weeks of May, which affect the ticket (and hotel) prices.

Yeah am aware of those holidays and precisely why I am also travelling during that period..
Want to utilize the extended break during that time as client office is closed for the whole week.

Got r/t tickets on Air Baltic to AMS for Eur 195 return pp for 2/5/15 - 9/5/15.. seemed quite decent for that time ..
