Arrival at DOH. (Disembarking)
When you land at DOH there are two things that can happen.
You can arrive at a contact gate, which if you have a short transfer may be disadvantageous, or be parked remotely with buses to take you to the terminal.
When you arrive at a contact gate then, if you are in transit, you will normally be subject to security screening. Just follow the Transfer signs. At the moment Arrivals into Doha follow the same path. When you reach a row of transfer desks. Arrivals go one way and transfer passengers enter the security area. If you need the transfer desks or QR have provided overnight accommodation (STPC) you need to go to the transfer desks here.
Every day security in DOH have a list of flights that are exempted the security checks and are directed straight into the departure areas.
When arriving at a remote stand a bus will take you to the main terminal at the foot of stairs up to the transfer desks. There have been reports that from an arrival at a remote stand some passengers were taken to the North node area with direct access to the departure area bypassing security.
If arriving and transferring passengers are separated at the gate or discharged from a bus directly into the departure area then if you have QR organised accommodation (STPC) or otherwise need the transfer desks you should follow the arrivals signs until reaching the transfer desks. If you miss the arrivals signs you need to be escorted backwards through security for arrivals and transfer desks.

Ive been through DOH many times as a Premium Pax and when you do arrive via a Remote Stand, you will be taken off first and be bussed to the terminal first. No waiting for buses. This is only in my cases. Not sure if its in all cases...

I'm confused. Are you saying that passengers who are arriving and leaving the airport have to go through security? Is this security part of customs (that's the only security I've seen on arrival-and-leaving at any other airport before), or much earlier? What does this security involve?
