Used it for arrival into Doha at 7.30am as a Gold member in late Feb; very good it was too.

Maybe you should contact them once again. I was able to book an arrival and departure, but I was told that transit was not available due to "tranfer from the old airport to the new one" !!! Hasn't it been a year already????

The website allows you to book an arrival or a departure, but not a transit. the customer service/sales people have not been particularly helpful. I will try again before my trip in June. Good idea, and thank you for your help here.

I just wanted to report my recent experience with Almaha both arrival and departure for Gold members:
I sent an email with my flights details and I got a reply with a confirmation number almost right away.
Arrival:
It is an advantage only if the immigration line is long and you are not flying in J. Almaha lounge has its own immigration counter and security screening point and you can go through them quite quickly. Remember that they do not pick you up from the airbridge as it is done for F passengers.
Departure:
Much more helpful especially if you are flying in Y. There is a dedicated check-in counter for Almaha and the immigration process is done while you have a drink in the lounge. After a while, they call you and walk you through a dedicated security checkpoint where there is absolutely noone waiting and escort you to the lounge.
Transit:
I tried to book a transit service as well; however, I was told that it was not offered at this time to gold members.
Overall, I think it is a good service. It can be valuable when the airport is busy and you are flying in Y.

I am Gold with Privilege Club but when I go to book the service it shows a cost for it. This is while filling in my PNR. How does this work in practice? Thanks.

Same as stated in the post from 2015 - it can't be booked online. Mail [email protected] with your membership # and flight details.
I was most impressed. Sent the email and got a confirmation reply within 10 minutes !
