question regd Doha Aiport transit & visa

A question for the people who frequent Doha airport:

I want to fly in on a FlyDubai Y ticket from Dxb into DOH and then turn around and fly back on a EK Y ticket back to DXB. I have 1 Hr 15 mins to do this, is that sufficient time or am in cutting it too close. I wont have any luggage in hand.

Also, I am a UAE resident visa holder, Will I need a Qatar visa.

I am doing this coz of a cheaper fare on EK, if originating from DOH.

Thanks for your replies.

As long as you do the online checkin on QR before you leave home, disembark the arrivalbus at the transit terminal on your arrival in DOH, you should be fine. As/if you are GCC you can (try to) use the fast track as securety to enter the transit/departure aerea. No visa needed. There is also a dedicated securety for "short time transfer". But it all depends on your flight arriving in DOH at correct time.

Yeah what RUN4RUN said, ideally if you can print out your boarding pass prior to boarding then 1h 15 mins is plenty of time. If you have to go the transfer desk to get a ticket and basically play around with all that stuff, then you are cutting it thin.

Hi Ash_ak,

As per the Amadeus GDS, the minimum connecting time in Doha airport is 01hour.

Best regards,
Alex

if you are simply flying through Doha airport from Europe and then from Doha to India, do you need a transit visa or can you just go through the airport without any additional requirements?

Hi BMW303,

If passenger flies from Europe to india via Doha, then the transit visa is not required.

Best regards,
Alex
