But then, why would a QCB need an escort, since he already has a card?

Educated, perhance?

Enlightened, Enebriated?

No, I'm not padding my post count. It only goes up once per thread per 24 hours (U.S. Mountain Std. Time).

You are all heading in the wrong direction here ....

WP = someone who is Waiting Patiently
SG = someone who is Surreptitiously Gratified
PS = someone who is Pationately Spirited
NB = someone who is Never Bored

C2H5OH = ethanol (aka EtOH if you are an organic chemist). The most important chemical compound on the QF board.

Re the abbreviations:

WP = Wealthy (or w*nkered) Platinum
SG = Sh*tfaced Gold
PS = Pissed Silver
NB = Nobody (or 'nebriated) Bronze

Yes, let's get back onto topic before Willyroo see's it.

Og, I believe, coined the first phrase "s... gold" in a post somewhere. If I could be bothered looking I'm sure I'd find it.

W..... means one given to unproductive activity
S... means impurities that rise to surface of liquid

Now you can work on these two and deduce the rest, I'm sure....

Now that's close enough for jazz ... Not quite the original meanings, but definately worth a prize! I love the Bronze!

sorry, didn't use previous posts, just relied on the QF board revolving around alcohol ...

W..... means one given to unproductive activity

wparliamentarian? wlawyer?

S... means impurities that rise to surface of liquid

Yes, both are likely to be Platinums and the word...definitely

<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2"> S... means impurities that rise to surface of liquid

And you would be correct

NB was also correct

Can you get Silver, Aura??

Of course, the P.... Silver could always means "lying with face to ground..." especially after the session that we had in BNE QC

Very apt word to use with your suggested answer, Aura.

&lt;facetious mode&gt;:I'm leaving on a plane tomorrow, and I should be silver, and nearly gold, once I get back...

&lt;serious mode&gt;I suppose I should try ... pathetic or paltry?

I suppose I would like to be a WSP (Wealthy, Sh*tfaced Platinum), but I am currently a PSoB (Poor Sober Bronze)

Well, according to my Oxford Reference Dictionary (yeah, yeah, I know ... nobody believes I own a dictionary based on the way I spell/type), the P-word means: "working-class person, esp an uncultured one". That would fit many of us in BNE last Firday!

That would meet the description of most passengers who aren't QC members... but thankfully, you are an Ft'er

and here I though PSoB meant poor son of a b-itch..love your work, Aura
