Question Who has got the lowest/highest QFF number??

Apparently there are nearly 4,500,000 QFF members!!! And from what I've heard, the guy who has 000001 is still around (this could be false of course).

Mine is 379xxx, low considering I joined in Dec 1993 when I was 8!!!

I know some FT'ers may have been members since the beginning of the programme! So.....

What's yours???

Not sure if the 4 digit rule is correct. I am very sure that a family member who was CL did not have a 4 digit number, but to be fair, it has been a number of years since I have seen the card.

I have a six digit number like both of you, but another family member has a 5 digit number. I know newly issues cards have 7.

I joined back in Jan 01 and I have 30xxxxx, 7 digits. My parents joined 18 months ago and 16 months, and have 39xxxxx and 401xxxx numbers. I'm guessing when they changed from TAA/Australian numbering schemes they just changed the numbering slightly. It may not be sequential increments necessarily.

I vaguely recall reading somewhere that Robert Gottliebsen has #1. I know there are definitely members with single digit numbers.

I'm not sure that all 4 digit numbers are CL members as there's a Manager at our work who has a 4 digit number and she isn't CL.

You're probably right as I stumbled across an old QFF luggage of my dad which was a 5 digit number but he now has a 6 digit one with a 2 added to the other 5 digits.

Has anyone got one that works out to be something? Like 12345 or 666 or something?

Mine isn't quite so exciting but it's still easy to remember because it is in the form [double digit]-[quadruple digit]-0. I'm pretty sure that they're not issued sequentially given the information posted here above and the fact that mine starts 11.... and I joined the programme in I think 1998.

I dunno. My parents joined up the same time and their numbers are sequential.

Who knows.

I joined in 88 - 5 digit starting with a 3.

BTW lifetime membership for the new Flight Deck Club (pre-Qantas Club) at that time was just $400... (kicking myself now that I only took one year!)

I've been in from the start, and also had Australian Airlines membership. When they merged I think I had to take a QF number, 5 digit 32XXX.

My memory is they converted all Qantas Club memebrships to FF, and suspect they just started at a and went through to z.

I'm sure there was another thread about this about a year or so ago. BUT, I have 2xxxxx which is about 15 yrs or so old and Mrs og has 9xxxx which is even older (the FF number, not Mrs og)from the old Australian Airlines scheme.
