Gold FF - DXB Transit - Security Priority?

In my experience when travelling EK as a QF Gold I get given fast track passes, but I have never received one on QF metal. However, nobody has ever collected any of them from me so they are reused if on QF metal. :-) However, transit security at DXB Terminal 3 despite long queues can move really quickly (the scanner operatives barely look at the screens frankly) and sometimes the fast track is slower then regular.
