That's strange. My December booking still has the CD link and it's active.

No loss for SYD. The train is much quicker to/from downtown SYD.

I wouldn't say "much" quicker, depending on the walk to the nearest train station, and that pesky $12.30 fee just to walk off the platform at SYD.

That assumes you were coming from downtown Sydney.

And not lugging the maximum number of bags allowed as a premium cabin passenger.

Anyone used CD for London - LHR?
Would one hour be sufficient for travel time, mid afternoon?
I did see some 'comments' (in Ausbt) that a tip would be appropriate (maybe 5GBP?).

Travel time will really depend on when you are travelling and from where. I don't think a tip is needed.

an unusual situation : meeting MrsVinnieGLA in DXB. She is flying in from LHR on QF in F and qualifies for CD. If I go to airport to meet her off her flight, can the two of us use the CD service to our hotel? i.e. can a qualifying pax bring a guest?

ex-LHR in April I had a merc if some sort pick up from Central London. What was awesome is that it happened on a day of a tube/LHR express strike, so this was perfect to have it. I allocated 4.5 hours prior in case traffic was crazy but only took 45 mins to get to LHR. Extra lounge time

Very comfy ride with a friendly driver

Pick up time more than five hours early?

I can book Qantas drive for my upcoming QF1 departing 02:25 at DXB. But I'll be staying at Abu Dhabi. The earliest pick-up time I can choose on the website is 5 hours prior to flight (at 21:25). I can't imaging any hotels will allow me to a late check-out for that late so is it possible to arrange an earlier pick-up time, say 18:00? Thanks in advance.
