BA/AA (OneWorld): JFK/MIA - MAD $3603

First post. So forgive if any newbie mistakes.

British Airways/American Airlines. First Class. JFK/MIA to Madrid. $3603. Expert Flyer seems to suggest that it books into F on AA and B on BA. 28 day advance purchase required. 3 month min stay. 12 month max stay. Minimum 3 day turn.

Hope it helps.

Hi, welcome to FlyerTalk and thank you for sharing

This is an AA fare (code INN8Z3S3) and appears to be a regular 28 day advance purchase fare rather than a special offer. Similarly it has a 3 day minimum stay rather than 3 months

I can't seem to find anywhere near this price from NYC but it seems fairly open from MIA.

This wouldn't book into F on AA, unless you mean short haul domestic F in the US.

AA doesn't operate 3-class service JFK/MIA-MAD (nor does IB, of course). I assume you're referring to the AA codeshare (BA metal)?

I think that's a pretty routine fare and, tbh, not that exciting of a fare.

In J definitely not exciting.
In F it's a good fare.
Still not clear. OP did not follow rule #5 in the sticky at the top of the forum to put the class in the title.

There should also also be a rule to validate a fare on an OTA, which likely would have cleared up that confusion. ExpertFlyer alone isn't good for this.

To answer Q's

- This is a First Class fare on AA stock (via BA.com it is $7500+)
- Transatlantic legs book into A, European connecting leg (LHR - MAD etc) books into I

I personally couldn't find it from NYC but it definitely works from MIA and availability is wide open:

There's tons of availability from NYC on many dates. Not sure why folks can't locate it. It prices out at $100 more than MIA ($3,703).
