Looked like a nice enough fare and being the 4th of July weekend I thought why not make the most of it. I've tried working a few differnt routes but same result. Another one I tried was AMS-LHR-DFW-MIA-LAS but once
I go to get it ticketed AA shows a price upwards of $4500. Not sure if I'm missing something or doing something wrong.

Any help be great.

Thanks again.

Thanks Shek132. I just tried replicating what you did but once again ive come up empty.
I'm assuming you did this under multi city? I tried that but it will only let me:-
1) Have a maximum of 6 flights - I need 8?
2) Can only have max of 2 flights on the same date?

What am I missing?

As you can tell bit of noob here with all this stuff. Clearly got a lot of learning to do. But I'm keen to learn.

Once again I appreciate you taking some time out to educate me.

Thanks heaps

I booked and ticketed:
DUB-LHR-YVR 31OCT All BA (AA coded flight numbers)
LAS-LHR-AMS 10JAN All BA (AA coded flight numbers)

€1375 / US$1619 / C$2048
360 TP

Use Google Flights to search, then click the link to AA website. Doing on BA or AA website directly are more expensive.

Thanks, OP.
Thanks OP & sllee. Booked DUB-LHR-YVR-JFK-LHR-BUD last week including a flight with CX (YVR-JFK) with 11hr layover in NYC at US$1,937 on AA.com

Not the best TP run as it comes up to ~£3 per TP. But you can add another ~US$190 to add JFK-YVR on the way out which would then reduce it to ~£2.58 per TP. You can also position it to LCY on your inbound for certain dates. Only issue is that CX889 lands midnight at YVR.

CX does not serve YVR-LHR. Do you mean JFK-YVR?

Appears the CX flight YVR-JFK is indeed bookable on this fare through AA.com. Just became a lot more interested!

Good spot. I meant YVR - JFK on the ticket booked.

It allowed me to do 3 on same date. However I'm also unable to price 8 flights but 7 flights only.
I used ams-dfw, dfw-mia, mia-las on 30 jun, and las-mia, mia-dfw, dfw-ams (this one gave dfw-lhr-ams) on 7 jul. Try to do it in us site maybe? I was also able to pull it in hk site lol

I can only get it to work if the TATL is on an AY code

Booked it on 10th and it worked on AA Ireland's website but the price was eventually in USD.

I tried on 11th to add in JFK-YVR leg and it was do-able but only available on AY codes and no longer showing on AA website. It looks like if I want to add CX return, only AY is giving me a sale price (used some random dates in Feb next year):

To the ones who wanted the Eastern version of this fare - here is the thread to go from Europe to Hong Kong or Bangkok (other destinations probably too). £1250 in March:

AMS-LHR-BKK BA BUS CLASS 1390 euros.

it seems the good route is AMS/DUB-LHR-BKK/HKG/LAS - someone better than me at Expertflyer could probably make a really nice chart of this

Can you please clarify:
Is the last segment to LAS not a typo?
Is this fare still valid?

I think Ursa81 was using the slash symbol (/) to mean "or": AMS or DUB to LHR to BKK or HKG or LAS.

(But it's probably not helpful to continue this in this particular thread.)
