China - EUR 1737

AU/NZ - EUR 1838 (previously: 'Black Friday Sale': EUR 1500, Xmas Sale: EUR 1600.00)

All fares are for travel in Business class (IIRC booking inventory is R) and include taxes and fees.

If you are not *A-captive, I think it might be worth waiting for QR sales ex ARN - fares to Oz are similar, but service standards are higher.

NOTE: the booking period is April 28 to May 1,2017

I tried to book to Tokyo but the lowest I could find was above 3000 euros...

Same here.

Tried to to book FRA-AKL for 3 passengers and it came back at between €5700 and €8900. Assumed that was for all three until I clicked on to book only to see it was per passenger!!!

That's because the booking period is April 28 to May 1,2017

Last sale there were some esoteric Asian destinations which weren't advertised, so worth a search. Another FRA - OKA for EUR1.5k would be great!

I missed it last time, and this time the travel period is out of when I need it.

Any idea whether this will be back later in the year?

Based on the info they provided on their German web page:

We will introduce weekend specials for the last weekend of every month in 2017
