BA not daily currently. Due to low demand they tend to use the 321s versions very much lately, however those ac still feature lie flat C.

From UK it is difficult in the sense that there are a limited number of direct flights per day and the flight is longer. Also some people can fly the same day as their exEU departs but this might not be possible with CAI.

How about some good options for positioning from N. America? Or is that just crazy talk?

Nothing is crazy in this game! I would consider using miles to position and then book an RT CAI - USA on the way back. Voila! Your positioning flight is taken care of for next time

Would do it again without hesitation.

Can't get this any lower than the 18k EGP mark in May. Am I just out of luck on dates or do I need to plug it in somewhere special?
Also has anyone managed to get it to price with a stopover in DOH?

I've flown plenty that do, for a minimal surcharge.
