Companion fares are back! although not as cheap as last time . Requires min of 2 pax, max 8. I only tried between YVR/YYZ and CDG/AMS in May, so I'm not sure if this is the average price.
Fare basis:
(ST) ZD17CA
(OW) INN7M3T3
(*A) PRCCP13
Edit: YYC not included (again) unfortunately.

I had originally posted that the dates were broadly available:
Then realized..:
Sorry my skim didn't notice those were all LOT flights which have been around a while.
I actually wasn't able to replicate but I know google isn't always as able to find the companion deals..
{Fares are basically everywhere in Europe from
Major Canadian airports.
Starting Nov 7th though end of schedule (sept 17)}

For my fellow OW people, seeing some availability from YVR to most of Europe on BA for around 1900-2200 a person. The cheapest places are France and Italy.
Heres and example

I dont know how easy it is to adjust titles, but this seems to be a YVR focused deal - albeit a good one!
Fares from other cities are several hundred more dollars more expensive (e.g., YYZ or YUL)

ok, so can someone scope out this deal? Its from (and to) which cities during roughly which dates, with a 10 day minimum stay (first I saw that noted)?
update:
Just a note I spent some more time and its a bit feasible to go to individual carrier websites and select 2 travelers, but even then the various websites dont generally have as good a "look ahead" interface as google flights (GF), so figuring out which carriers have seats on particular days isn't so easy.
Anyway, a good deal but its a bit of work to exploit.
Final note - I found some TK fares even cheaper - roughly $1600 per person in various routes from YYZ. Scattered dates not bulk availability.
If anyone has a better summary, I'm all ears.
