I have obtained through google flights. From Bcn the long haul is in AC and feeder flight in LH, if via Germany, or IB, if via Mad

The fare rules are the most open I think I've ever seen, so not sure how you aren't finding it. What are your dates?

Worth noting that out into 2017 most direct MAD - YYZ flights are showing a 763 not a 788.

It works for ORD too for $1,100 but only as a 1-3 day trip or so, very weird.
