FYI...20% discount for children (so CAD$1800 on cheapest ex-YYZ fares), could be useful for family bookings.

Unfortunately I tried it last night, and found that it too doesn't work. I get the following error messages when I try to use it:

On a brighter note, I just spoke to a BA CSR, and the sale fares are apparently scheduled to last for three weeks (ending on 5/17).

Can this be combined with the ALASKA offer on BA ie double miles from SEA to LHR if say you do

YVR-SEA-LHR-XXX and back with double miles on SEA-LHR-SEA?

Good deal! Trying to find out how to position from SFO/SJC to YVR for this on OW. Flights to Canada are so damn expensive!

Insteaad of SFO you can do OAK to BLI (Bellingham) on Allegiant but then you have the issue of getting to YVR - theres likely some bus services that do it.

          Read the post again

CARDOFFERC = 10% discount for CANADIAN origin

CARDOFFERU = 10% discount for US origin

CARDOFFERC is perfectly valid for ex-YVR flights.

Yes - just working through it with a 6 year old too. We did SJC-SEA on Alaskan last time but you need to get up there (plus bloody long border crossing time).
          Good suggestion though.

Worked for me, but only if you log in. Otherwise you see this:

"Sorry, CARDOFFERC is only applicable to some logged in customers. We regret that we don't recognise you as eligible"

Apparently not anymore - I just booked an ex-YVR ticket on BA 84 yesterday, and it's on an A380.
Looks like just for the summer months - my trip is in Nov - still on the 747-4

Rent a car. People drive from BLI to YVR all the time.

The fares I had reserved with no min stay and no advanced bookings appear to be pulled. And my corp TA screwed up and didnt book in the window and the reservation died. Oh well, back to aavacations for this one, and about +$800 of cost due to my TAs laziness.

It should. As long as you are crediting your miles to AS and it is on BA metal SEA-LHR.

https://www.quickshuttle.com/forms/itinerary Used it many times. Great service, just hop off at the border and go through the formalities.

BTW, on some routes you can hook up to the reverse herringbone 777 hard product on AA. YYZ-FCO in particular. Avoid 777 out of ORD though (I believe ex-JFK you're fine with new J).
Where did you see the 777 on AA out of YYZ? All I've been able to locate is 767 on pretty much all routes.

My TA called back after I sent a scathing email. Apparently American told them the no minimum and no advanced stay fare I booked was a mistake and they would not honor my booking. My TA completely folded and wouldn't challenge...
