Dl: Sfo - lim

Not sure if this is a good deal but I booked SFO - LIM (via ATL) in DL Biz for $1611, departing 1/14 and returning 1/18.

Not bad. Thanks! It may be time for a pisco sour and ceviche run.

It depends on your elite status and the fare bucket it booked into if you partake in SkyPesos.

Crediting to VS, you would be 2/3 of the way to Silver Status with 10 tier points and at least 15945 RDM.

I'm seeing $1389 (A/Z bucket) the 12/4 - 12/8. I used Google Flights and then clicked through to purchase.

Not long ago I paid 1260USD LAX/LIM/YYZ on UA P bucket... Of course DL is much better than UA. Expect full Delta One service from Atlanta to Lima as any flight to Europe or Asia. United offers a kind of Business First Lite version which is a very big minus.

Just booked SFO-LIM-BOS via ATL both ways on 1/26-27 for $1541. A bit expensive, but fits both my calendar and my desire to get to Gold by 2/1 - thanks to rollover miles! FWIW, I had to call in, Delta.com wouldn't let me buy the ticket with a 90 minute turn. I did this back in March without a problem, never even left the gate area. No passport stamp, but with the 150% RDM, should get me 14,185. Thanks OP!

for me the deal breaker is flying SEA to ATL in F class on a 737-900. Other then that, ATL to LIM is at least on a flatbed equipped 767.

Is Lima northern or southern South America?

Note that DL makes a distinction in the treatment of longer flights, notably the mid-flight snack versus snack basket in the galley, slippers, the small second Westin Heavenly Bed pillow, etc. In this sense, Lima wouldn't be the "full" D1 service compared to most of the Asian routes.

I think it's considered southern SA. We flew in J on this route in June and, while the cabin service was nice, it wasn't the "full" D1 experience, ala Asia.
Got the Skybreak Basket in between meal services, and no slippers, only the striped socks in the TUMI amenity kit.

If you are willing to relocate to YVR, you can get $1100 on UA J

Didn't you mean to say "if you are willing to fly UA"?

Also, there are still dates, and lots of them, plus you can do SFO - LIM for $1560.00 on Delta.

ITA is being twitchy but saw some SFO-ATL-LIM for 4 or 7 days RT ai $1312 for 15,950 MQMs. Google Flights has some 0- and 1-day turns at $1306. Scattered dates May-Oct e.g. May 23-24. Books into A/Z.
