I think that's what the OP meant by being on the fence about 550 US. The CAD is stinking it up right now at about 0.8 USD.

fyi NH 116/116 is now 787 lie flight from 07/01 according to a recent press release.
I think this is a hot deal after 07/01

why fly

be careful flying Y on AC the yvr-HKG plane has been a HORRID 777HD slave-ship with slimline seats used in RJ's

Also the plane has extremely limited washrooms in Y.
If you do buy business class read the reviews on the "new" crappy J seats.
Also AC does not give full miles on low fares, check the FF program you are using.

That's a JV route so you can book it on AC, NH, or UA metal at the same fare. The exact price will depend on routing and fare class availability. I checked a couple dates and saw the TPAC on NH 77W (via SFO) for $3105 US (connecting to NH 788).
