LHR to Most of North America, South Africa (JNB/CPT), HKG, SIN, ICN, PEK.... all can be had for GBP 500 one way.

Yeah can be booked for solo traveller, as was the case in previous years.
They used "2 for £2014" because it sounds better than "1 for £1007"...

btw lower deals have been found, for instance NCL (Newcastle, UK)-HNL for £850. [BA domestic pricing is usually pretty flat so that price should be valid UK wide]

Can route through LAX to HNL for same price. LHR-LAX-HNL $1580 = 15982 miles + 25% COS bonus on LHR-LAX and 50% on LAX-HNL ... not to shabby cpm
