Exclamation Terminal dump EWR-C [3-Jan-2010] (merged)

Just announced on the NYC area snooze ... the TSA screws up again. Someone walked landside to airside without being screened and now they are dumping the entire terminal.

It is getting "breaking news" coverage on CNN.

Time to dismantle this incompetent agency!

Neither is Miss L-1011. She was just about to board her flight to EDI when this happened.

So far I only found two flights that have a status that is unusual:
Continental Flight 1519
Status: Estimated Departure 35 Minutes Late (Delayed - Airport conditions preventing departure)

Continental Flight 28
Status: Delayed - Airport conditions preventing departure
The rest I looked up have the standard EWR message, "Delayed - Air traffic control."

Jusst curious, what happens if she has already boarded but the gate has not been closed yet. does she have to sit in her seat until TSA quits drinking coffee?

I don't imagine CO.com has a "TSA F**kup" status code.

You wish! She's not on-board yet, so it is a moot point. The lines are somewhat long now outside the terminal

I guess the TSA is working over time to kill CO's international expansion plan of greater than 50% of revenue from international flights.

Expensive and disruptive, but the right thing to do. Glad they caught it.

I really wish I had the same "accountability" the TSA has, back in my working days.
