Six air stewardesses nabbed in Sepang drug raid

Saturday, 20 May 2017 | MYT 7:22 PM
BY JUSTIN ZACK

SEPANG: Six air stewardesses were among 12 people arrested in a drug raid at a house in Kota Warisan on Friday

Police also seized about 0.05g of ketamine, along with drug paraphernalia, including ringgits which have been rolled-up to be used in consuming the drug.

******

This is bad. Stewardesses potentially reporting for work not in the right state of mind and then handling safety aspects of the flight....very very dangerous.

The airline does not conduct random drug testing measures which is also very dangerous.

One twentieth of a gram? That's residue. There's more cocaine on every $100 bill in circulation.

This could be a lenghty jail term and canning. Not sure if it will be within the mandatory death sentence range but, pretty sure they wont be flying anytime soon for employment.

The evil that women do.

Not really bothered about what goes on in Taiwan or with CI.

More concerned with Air Asia and the state of the crews/FA's going to work high on drugs and not being able to perform their jobs safely.

Safety is therefore compromised and lives are put at risk.

I hope the authorities throw the book at them and they go to jail for a long time as a lesson.

Agreed. The ludicrous response to any amount of drug is unneeded posturing.

No need to keep them fresh for later use. Plenty of new flesh for the bosses to put forth. SE Asia style of course.

Evil? Seriously? The overblown view of drug use is, again, ludicrous. Sure, you want to dismiss them from flight duties or the airline in general, gothca. Evil? Senseless.

Puhleeze.

And Puritanical.

And it's certainly not a sufficient amount to be K-holed.... which i'm told is a place you really don't want to be.

Hoping they do get life imprisonment at the minimum. Respect the laws of the country you live in.

Life in prison for drug residue?

Respect should go both ways, don't you think?

Are you seriously talking about not only ruining someone's life but putting a human being in a cage for fifty years or more over this? For possessing (a tiny amount of) a chemical that makes a person feel good? (A chemical that is, incidentally, also used as a legitimate clinical anesthetic in medicine.)

Where is the sense of justice? Of human decency?

There is zero proof that they were high while on the job.

What do you expect from Wolf72? He is living in a country that practices sharia law.
Absolutely ridiculous to ask for life imprisonment for a little residue and some rolled up bills.

I think there is a cause for concern as there is no evidence to proof they were not taking drugs before reporting for duty at anytime since they joined the airline either.

If they are doing drugs now, you cannot say they are neither habitual drug addicts and/or they have not been addicted to drugs that could have impaired their judgement and decision making whilst operating on flights both domestic and international which could have compromised the safety of passengers and fellow crew members.
