What's so funny about shrimp? I like them more than any other seafood. Does somebody else has a hint,

I too vote for the nice flavorful stone crabs but Joe's is way overpriced and I dont like waiting in their long lines. FWIW many Florida restaurants have them on the menu and they are great for an appy or even a main course.

Location: IAD, and sometimes OMNI/PR. Currently: not far from IAD, but home will always be SAN (not far from the "touch my junk and I'll have you arrested" Memorial TSA Check Point) even if I'm not there so much these days.

I think Sweet Willie was only indicating that when in season, stone crab claws are a Miami specialty, not that there's anything funny about wanting shrimp. I don't have any specific spots to recommend, but you should be able to get both in Miami. Have a nice visit!
