I have been using booking.com for years, now I am also "Genius" so that I get 10% discount on some properties.<br />I still have some bookings pending but as said by others it is becoming less and less competitive.<br />I always check the price on the property's website and sometimes it is cheaper, even if I have 10% discount on booking.com.<br />And, more important, if you book through booking.com, you get no points, for example.
