ITN Amex tool gone? Or are there other problems?

It looks like http://flyaow.com/classamex.htm now redirects to a page suggesting other availability tools (KVS, Seat Counter, etc.).

Direct links to the ITN Amex booking tool no longer work. Instead I get an error message -- "ERR NO: ENG-AM-055 ", "PCC in crs_group (none////none) is invalid". Same deal when the booking engine is accessed via, for example, http://publicbackup.com/shared/flyertalk/availability/. It's been this way for about a day.

When I search for UA or CO availability on Seatcounter, I get "Query failed. Click here to retry. For a new search, click here." Could there just be something wrong with third-party availability information?

Any insight?

Also, Wanderingaramean's multi bucket inventory isnt working as well. if i do a search for single fare bucket, it works.

Ah, I see, this was reported 7/29 by the maintainer at www.kvstool.com :

[WSpan: ITN] & [Apollo: ITN] Methods Currently Unavailable 29 Jul 2010
In the meantime, elite-tier users should switch to [Sabre: ITN] or [Galileo: ETR] to ensure uninterrupted access. Further information will be posted as it becomes available. "

It looks like the ITN websites that the previously mentioned services may rely on for their availability data were old and decommissioned. One had a copyright of 1999...that can't be good.

I thought all of the free search engines that showed fare bucket availabilities had been gone for some time now. Apparently, I was wrong. If there are any that work, I would love to know.

Flightstats.com as Alternative

Flightstats.com is showing availability by fare bucket

http://www.flightstats.com/go/Flight...tyByRouteEx.do

Be sure to adjust departure time to see the full day. Also, mouse over the seats by cabin to see the fare buckets.

Cool, thanks. Maybe this is the data source that the KVS Tool's "[Sabre: FS]" is scraping (sold for $20/6 months or $35/year).

Hey chazmat, great early post. Best info I've seen on FT in many months. ^^ I find flightstats great for much info, but had no idea it had this dimension.

Am I doing something wrong, or does this tool not display AA availability at all? I put in STL-ORD and AA and got a message that it couldn't find any flights. Without the airline restriction, I got only UA (and its codeshares).
