DONEWC4 routing check please.

Dear All,

I am looking for a routing check on a DONEWC4 ticket. I am unfamiliar with how One World classifies parts of the middle east and Asia hence I am asking.

JNB-LHR-DXB-DOH-HND-SIN-HKG-MEL-BNE-MEL-SYD-JNB

Regards,

Ibhayi

This is how oneworld currently views the world regions.

The way it is classified can be found on the oneWorld web site:

oneworld Explorer is made up of six individually priced continents as follows:
• Europe/Middle East including Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Georgia, Libya, Moldova, Morocco, Russia west of the Urals, Sudan, Tunisia and Yemen.
• Africa (excluding countries named above)
• Asia including the Indian subcontinent, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia eastof the Urals, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan (excluding countries named above)
• Australia, New Zealand and the South West Pacific
• North America including the Caribbean, Central America and Panama
• South America
I'm not sure why Himeno further subdivides light/dark blue or orange/red.

Thank you. Am I therefore correct in assuming DXB and DOH are considered part of Europe and that LHR-DXB would be one of my 4 intra European flights?

Yes.
Then, DOH-HND is an intercontinental flight.

For MR purpose, DOH-LHR-HND is preferrable than DOH-HND :-)

With regard to the different colors for shades for Europe and the Middle East, there are some rules that only apply to the ME, hence the need to show that area separately. For example:
(c)
Travel may originate at any point for which fares are published and must terminate at the same point, except that
origin-destination surface segments are permitted as follows
(a)within the country of origin
(b)within the Middle East
(c)between the United States and Canada
(d)between HKG and China
(e)between Malaysia and SIN
(f)within Africa
(g)between Maldives & Sri Lanka/India
