Copenhagen airport train question
Does the train from the airport to the main railway station go through any long tunnels? Wife gets claustrophobic if underground for more that a minute or two.
Thanks in advance.

The airport stations looks like this https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...nderground.jpg (technically underground, but pretty open) and once it gets going, it doesn't take long at all to get into open air.
The other station (Tårnby) has a similar design, where the area between the tracks opens up to high ceilings: http://www.hansreckweg.dk/stationer/.../taarnby09.JPG. It isn't as open as the airport and if the train stops there (not all trains do) it could take a few minutes to get through it. The total length of "tunnel" isn't more than a few hundred meters though.

You're very welcome. I had a quick look at the time tables and it seems that the trains are at the station for no more than a minute, unless a lot of people are getting on/off (which rarely happens at Tårnby). If you're lucky you'll even get a non-stop train, but they only run once an hour.
There is also a bus (5A) which goes into town, it's just not all that interesting of a trip.
One thing to be aware of is the S-trains. Going from the main station towards Vesterport, Nørreport, Østerport or further will include a fair amount of tunnels, and you might end up stopped in one if there are delays. Same goes for the Metro, Fasanvej st. to Islands Brygge or Lergravsparken is all underground.

She does want to try to 'stretch' herself a bit, so the train (as described) might well be an option. We'll see how she's feeling on the day.
