Cars at ROC
I know this is a long shot, but i figured on posting it. If anyone has recent reports from the Rochester (NY) Airport location. I'd greatly appreciate it. I'll be renting from the ROC location twice on the 24th of May for 1 night, and the 30th of May for 3 days.
Thanks!
Nick

I reserved a Premium, but when I got there late Sunday night, they were out, so I took a Ford Fusion instead. The attendant did reduce my price accordingly.

Any recent ROC renters? I'm renting there for a week in late May (including the holiday weekend). I'm currently holding a Premium reservation - a big car is very important for this trip.
A list of current cars there potentially a little helpful, but I'm more interested in the process. Sounds like it's an Emerald Booth...no real ES... Wondering how loose they are with selection for an Exec Elite. I'll be picking up on Wednesday ahead of the holiday. I can tell by the rates for all agencies for vans and luxury cars that things are very tight - literally $500+ per week to book a van for my dates. If offered a selection, I will simply ask for whatever has the most passenger room regardless of how cool or uncool the car/van/SUV is.
I could obviously book a midsize rental (e.g., my regular Executive Selection rate) for less money, but I'm thinking that holding the confirmed Premium might be good for this one. Premium only priced at a reasonable rate for me because I was logged in as EE. If anyone has other thoughts, I'd love to hear that too...

If you are open to renting from Budget, use BCD D454301 and it will get you an intermediate SUV for $139/week or a standard SUV for $159/week. I tested a few dates around Memorial day at ROC and it prices out correctly.
From what I can gather online, this Budget location is Fastbreak-enabled and the cars are a short walk outside the terminal. So yes, I'd be open to renting from them to save about $100.

Frequent renter
I have not really remembered all of the cars, but in general:
1. If you rent a mid-size as EMD, they will tell you exactly what cars they have. No EA or ES for you to pick. They keep all the keys so you have to ask them for it.
Most of the times I saw and rent:
Camrys
Accords
Impalas
Others available:
RAV4
Mazda 6
All other generic mid-sizes, economys and compacts
Premium:
I did hear their quote of upgrade fees to Lincoln MKZ

Pretty nice fleet today at around 6p.m.:
Nissan Maximas
Toyota Avalon
Toyota Camry LE
Toyota Camry SE -> reserved so I couldn't get it
Impalas
Malibus
Corolla
Camero
Asked to grab the Maxima, but quoted a $13 up-sell charge, really?
Took the 2013 Altima S Pure Drive. Pretty impressive so far, a huge step over a regular Altima 2.5L

I just returned a very nice Hyundai Genesis at ROC. I'm going to start keeping an eye out for these. It was a surprisingly nice car.i don't remember what the other options she gave me were when I picked it up but they weren't as nice.
