I just scored a rate of $67 all in using the last minute specials contract code of 6600435 and a free day coupon. Now I am wondering what is on the Executive Aisle lately in Albuquerque.

Anyone?

Ok - very inconsistent - when I picked up on Sat 5/24 around 10:30 am - both EA & ES was pretty sparse - with quite a few smaller SUVs and on the ES side 2 Impalas & 1 Buick LaCrosse CXL (that I took).

On the return today Mon 5/26 around 9:30 AM (Memorial Day) - much better selection - with quite a few Camrys in both sides - 1 Volvo S60 in each side - along with the usual Impalas & smaller SUVs - on the EA side there was a Nissan Sentra (very strange).

On an unrelated note - for the second time in recent weeks - my usage of a free day earned during last year's 1-2-free promotion wasn't reflected in the receipt despite being in the confirmation - so I'll have to call tomorrow

Picked up a G8 on 9/19. I had the options of several camry's, a highlander, and 2 S-60's. Id go with the S-60 over the G8 next time as I found the seats to be uncomfortable.

Born and raised in NM. When I go home to visit family I rent on occassion. The last few times I went home I go tan Envoy, and the other time a Buick Enclave. Both part of the Executive Select lot.

Rented here last weekend, ES was somewhat small, had a few 300's, Impala's, Silverado's Ram's and one lone Tahoe, which is what I took!

Was in ABQ 1/19 - 1/21 and the EA and EE were very nicely stocked. Upon my arrival, nice selection of Lucerns, 300s and other full sized cars on both the EE and EA. Saw a few large and small SUVs and a few other odd cars (KIA, Mercury, Hyundai). Overall, a nice selection of low mileage cars. I like the fact that the EE is right up front at this location. Great location ^

Emerald Aisle had 3 Chevy Traverses, a Camry, and a Nissan Armada, that I chose.

likelihood of SUV in ES AQB?

We are thinking about going in Sept and am wondering what is the likelihood of an SUV in the Executive Selection aisle or should we reserve one?

Still pretty hit or miss on SUV's - I've gotten the range from Impala to Yukon to Suburban. There is a woman who mans the lots on Monday noon time who is kind of a jerk when it comes to picking the nicest car out there. Constantly making sure you're aware that it's "executive Selection" and trying to push the smaller cars. Slightly annoying.

I got there at 9pm on a Friday night, and the place was really picked over. It's a strange layout, with the ES right in front of the door and the EA on either side of it. At quick glance, nothing looked particularly appealing - all sedans - but the greeter saw me come out and approached me.

When I told him I was ES, he looked at the ES selection and said "what are you looking for?" I think I'm the only person on FT who doesn't mind the 2012 Escapes (they have lots of headroom and acceptable everything else) and since I spotted on out in the regular vehicle area, I suggested that. The greeter was happy to take me to it, and as I was walking over there I noted that there wasn't really a better vehicle on the lot.

The Escape was pretty well used - 15k on the odometer and expired sat radio - and it really didn't like going 75 on uphill stretches of I-25, but for $23/day after taxes I won't complain!

The lot attendant at ABQ that you want to see is Paul. Hes there Thur/Fri nights as well as during the day Sat/Sun. Make friends with him and you shall be rewarded.

Ive had pretty good luck out there, everything from Volvo S60s to Camaros in the Executive selection as of lately.

Arrived today at 12:30 (Monday, 8/20)

Lot was empty. (not just the aisles the entire lot) Attendant tried to make us believe his staff was running cars, but in 15 minutes two Impalas showed up. One man who arrives just as the first one did said "I want that" and charges off. I gave the attendant a RUDE look and he gave me the next one since the only other man waiting longer then me wanted something specific.

Everyone else had cars and I was halfway through the booking process with Hertz when these 2 Impalas showed up. I figured they had until I found something else to keep this sale and they barely made it.

Update at return today at 2:30. Still no cars, agent was giving same spiel. I think I will book with someone else next time.

Picked up 30-Aug around 8pm and fully stocked with tons of choices in EA, easily one of the best and most varied selections I've seen nationwide... everything from Sonatas to Altimas to Malibus to SUVs big and small to a Camaro.

Most of the cars were NM-plated which is unusual, as I always find out of state and two still had temp tags, a 2014 Sonata and a 2014 GMC Terrian which I took and is fully loaded. 503 on the odometer with working XM.

EDIT/UPDATE: See update next page, terrible lot, dangerous car.
