Cars at CRW
Renting a car at CRW tomorrow, Emerald Club, a few away from Executive.
What can I expect from CRW - I assume not a Bypass or Drop and go location. Is it an outside vendor that runs the location?

A long-awaited update for CRW...
National/Alamo share a counter, Enterprise is separate, sandwiched in between are Hertz and Avis/Budget. Despite the rental counter set-up, the three EAN companies appear to share inventory.
Was third in line, by the time I was to be assisted, no variety remaining for a FCAR res - was offered the choice of minivans : Dodge or Toyota. Not confirmed, but, probably due to the golf tournament at Greenbrier that ended Sunday (the EC member in front of me got a Terrain). Opted for the Toyota Sienna - was pleasantly surprised that it has working Sirius XM, great for the ride to eastern Kentucky.
Also, had some concern with this being a franchise location, but, received outstanding customer service. The counter agent recommended going to the Enterprise location about 1 hour west in Huntington (HTS), which was on my I-64 route to the Bluegrass State. Called HTS and was invited to stop in to see what vehicles had been returned - arrived HTS, nothing but a Jetta, so, I kept the Sienna. The ride has been good, and decent gas mileage (I suppose, no Ride Report from me, will leave that to Dr. Z. or KevinMD) - driven 200+ miles through today with 1/2 tank remaining, driving from the hollows of eastern KY to Huntington, WV each night, rental ends COB tomorrow.
This week, just call me Mr. Mom...
Regarding refueling, a short way up the mountain (!) on Airport Rd is a Marathon gas station/convenience store (at Greenbrier Rd) - the closest station to the airport. Prices were comparable to those I noticed in driving around.

Flew in here last night. As stated above, National and Alamo share a counter. Inventory appears to be half shared. There was a National-only section, an Alamo-only section, and a National-Alamo shared section. No line when I got there, and the agent was very quick (already had all my info).
Despite being executive I was offered a standard Impala, Camry, Altima, or Maxima. I ended up taking the Maxima, had about 10k miles but otherwise a nice car.
The car lot is just outside the door from baggage claim. I didn't look too closely, but was a solid collection of cars in the Naitonal section (Caddy XTS, some jeeps, challenger, and some other things that would normally be in the executive isle.
