Cars at TYS
on 10/21:
EA:
Nissan Maxima
Nissan Altima (looked old)
Chevy Impala (several)
Dodger Charger (a couple)
Hyundai Sonata
Dodge Durango
That's all I could remember. I was really wanting the Maxima but was told they didn't have the keys which meant someone else already had it reserved. Was kinda ticked at this. Had to settle on Sonata (XM still active) since he wasn't budging on letting me have the STS. Got in car and the gf noticed tank was half full. I noticed the Durango behind the parking garage pillar (there are a few spots here that you might not think or on the ES aisle) and asked about it. Of course, it wasn't clean. The new agent helping me said "I shouldn't do this" and asked if I wanted the Tahoe. I had some tailgating eqpt with me, so that did fine, and was pretty nice to drive. Avg'd 19mpg between TYS and CLT and some downtown CLT driving and also through the Smokey Mountains.

It's been a while since I have been there, but I can give you an update in a few weeks if it is still relevant for you.

Here is what I took note of in the newly redesigned Emerald Club section when I was dropping my car off:
Expedition
Sonata
GTI
The Selection area had:
Infiniti Sedan @ $50
CTS @ $100
GTI @ $25 (even thought there was also on in the "aisle" area, but was all the way down)
Sonata w/Leather @ $25
Mustang @$50

This location has really stepped up their vehicle offering, but need to be better staffed as there was a line over 10 long at the aisle. The gentleman with a handheld device got at least 4 customers (myself included) in vehicles before the 2 working the counter cleared their two clients.
On pick-up early Monday evening:
2 Nissan GL370z (took 1 with 1,000 miles)
Mustang convertible
Hyundai Sonata
Toyota Avalon
A few large SUVs
BMW 3-Series
Chevrolet Camaro
Other items, to be honest I didn't look all the way down the aisle.
On return Thursday around 6pm (had time to waste, so this is everything that was on the aisle when I walked it):
Chevrolet Malibu
Chrysler 200
Ford Fusion (x2)
Chevrolet Impala (x2)
BMW 3-Series
Chrysler 300 (x3)
Jeep Wrangler (2-door)
Chevrolet Traverse
Cadillac SRX
Buick LaCrosse (x2)
Hyundai Azeris
Nissan 370z (x2)
Mustang Convertible

Any other recent reports here? Picking up in a couple weeks to drive back to ATL and hoping to get something comfy with bluetooth.

I have rented from here three times lately.
I didn't try the App where you pick your car but went to the booth in the garage all three times.
I was upgraded two times to a premium and the third time when I had a premium reserved they made sure to give me a car with lots of features (I can't even recall what it was, but I know I was not unhappy)
The people working the booth are friendly and try to make you happy in my experience.
Alamo is in a different area and since I refuse to ever rent from them I have no idea what at experience is like

Just because I havent seen these in the fleet before, I picked up a 2018 Toyota Tacoma on a one-way. 24mpg, and not a bad driving truck. Only weird thing is there were only 2 regular keys and no key fob. I havent had to open my door with a key since 1998.

What to expect
Im an EE, never been to a non- aisle location. I have two bookings for a PCAR. One for 11:45pm and one for 9am the next morning, just in case I get delayed since it closes at midnight.
Would I have a decent chance of an upgrade? Luck of the draw? Better luck at 11:45pm or at 9am?
Any one rented from here in the last 6 months? Anything decent on the lot?
