car rentals: sixt

i must tell you i dont care for the hotel programs anymore since my realtionsship with amex as you do not have to requalify for those programs anymore. so i just stay in whatever chain hotel i like in the city and still receive the service as if i would have earned my elite status

See my list to the left for all I could fit, plus Avis, National, SPG and Super 8 (save a few of my own $$ at Mid-Ohio). I'm sure there are a few others I signed up for and forgot about

Airlines (4):
UA (I just use this), AC, DL, AA (card is in drawer)

Hotels:
Hilton, SPG, Hyatt, Marriott, LeMeridien and any other I can get.

The airlines I just use UA since I have a fair bit of lee-way from my company as long as I make my budget (econ only though, so far). The hotels I go with everyone as my hotels are pre-booked by my clients so I have very little choice. Hilton is my preferred though as I am Gold with HH.

Now this is really embarrassing. I went through a stage once where i actually joined every FF and FG program I was able to online.

I probably have joined more, but i currently have membership cards to 22 airlines, and 7 hotel programs. It all began with AN and QF which I paid to join. Once AN went belly-up, after losing 70000+ points, I switched to UA, and being a 1P I haven't looked back. Funny though how I don't have 1 point with QF though.

Here they are in random order: UA, IB, DL, NZ, AN (defunct), EK, US, EI, TG, SQ, AC, LH, TWA (defunct), Hawaiian, AA, Cp (defunct), QF, RG, Korean, CSA, Eva air, and MX. And these hotels: Starwood, Hilton, Priority Club, Hyatt, Marriott, HOJO, Club Ramada.

I'm actually glad I wated my time doing this as when I joined MX a few years ago, I received around 4000 bonus miles for joining. This past year when I decided to actually use MX as one of my FF programs for the Star 55k bonus, it was these bonus miles for joining that put me over, and enabled me to claim a reward.

I use MileTracker to keep track of 17 programs. Of course, I'm a member of several programs (e.g. Aeromexico) that Miletracker does not support.
